Except to the extent mandated by law, URPD does not disclose the immigration status of students to federal immigration authorities. URPD is, however, obligated to comply with applicable law and valid subpoenas and search warrants.

financial support

We are committed to meeting the full demonstrated need of all students admitted as freshmen to our full-time undergraduate degree programs. Students who are not U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents should apply for financial aid consideration at the point of their application for admission. All applicants are also eligible to compete for university-funded merit scholarships.

For students who are neither U.S. Citizens nor U.S. Permanent Residents — including undocumented, refugee, aslyee, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival students who graduated from U.S. high schools — the commitment to meeting a student’s full demonstrated need means that the University provides financial aid awards that do not include loans. While the University provides financial aid awards that meet every admitted student’s full demonstrated need, the Office of Admission is need-aware when reviewing applications from students who are not U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents.
